According to a report by BILD, as relayed by SPORT, Almugera Kabar is the subject of interest from Barcelona. And the reigning La Liga champions have advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign the newly-crowned FIFA Under-17 World Cup winner. But the youngster’s demands might scupper the deal, with the Blaugrana working to overcome that issue.
Who is Almugera Kabar?
Almugera Kabar is a native of Bremen and began his youth career at SV Husten 09. But his stock has soared since joining Borussia Dortmund from Hammer SpVg in 2019. The 17-year-old has come leaps and bounds at the Bundesliga club, rising through the ranks in the youth division.
The German full-back currently plies his trade for Dortmund’s Under-19 team, turning out five times thus far while chipping in with one goal and one assist. Meanwhile, Kabar was recently a part of Germany’s triumphant squad at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Indonesia.
