Manchester United have established contacts with the representatives of 27-year-old in-form VfB Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy.

According to a report by Tuttomercatoweb, Manchester United are keen on reinforcing their attack in the winter transfer window, and they have their eyes set on Serhou Guirassy. The 27-year-old has been in red-hot form in the ongoing season, and he is on the radar of some of the biggest clubs across Europe.

Serhou Guirassy has been in sensational form since joining VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2022. He initially joined them on a season-long loan deal, but the move was made permanent last summer on the back of his impressive performances.

Overall, the in-form striker has featured in 40 matches for the German club and has contributed towards 35 goals. The 27-year-old has taken his game to another level in the ongoing season, he has scored a total of 17 goals and has two assists in just 12 outings.

Guirassy’s incredible form in front of goal has not gone unnoticed, and there is a lot of interest in him from across Europe. Manchester United are one of the clubs that could make a move for his services in the upcoming winter transfer window.

While the 27-year-old has a contract with Stuttgart that runs until the summer of 2026, there is a €20 million release clause in his contract that could lead to his departure. Meanwhile, the player would love to feature for a Premier League club according to reports.

The Red Devils had a decent season last time out, and they decided to go big in the summer to further bolster their squad. Manchester United signed Rasmus Hojlund in a big-money move. The 20-year-old has gone a decent job since arriving at the club, but he has not been able to solve all their problems up top.

As a result, Erik ten Hag is keen on adding someone who can guarantee goals and given the recent form of Guirassy, he can certainly help their cause. And, the Red Devils can surely afford to sign him in the winter. They have already established contacts with the player ahead of a potential. While the Red Devils are making moves, they are not alone in the race and could face competition from other top clubs.
