Manchester City are reportedly preparing an offer to tempt Francesco Camarda and his entourage, as AC Milan have a big fight on their hands.

According to Tutto Sport, Manchester City are considering a serious move for 15-year-old prodigy Francesco Camarda in January. The starlet only became the youngest player to debut in Serie A on Sunday, and clubs have already set their sights on his signature.

Stefano Pioli did something on Sunday that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta did just over a year ago. The Milan boss handed 15-year-old prodigy Francesco Camarda his debut, making him the youngest player to take the field in a Serie A game.

In September of 2022, Arteta did the same with academy product Ethan Nwaneri, making him the youngest-ever player to set foot in a Premier League game. In the aftermath of Arsenal’s decision, the youngster started attracting the interest of many clubs, with the Gunners having to put up a fight before he committed his future to the club.

Milan now faces a similar fight, as hoards of clubs are already trying to prise the 15-year-old prodigy Camarda away from AC Milan as soon as January. The reason is that Camarda can only sign professional terms with the club when he turns 16 in March, thus giving clubs the January window to exploit his situation.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid are already considering a move for the highly-rated youngster. Camarda has built a reputation around him by scoring a reported 483 goals in 87 games for Milan’s youth sides, which puts the spotlight on him following his league debut.

Manchester City are also keen and reportedly pushing to sign him during the January window. Fabrizio Romano insists Milan are in advanced talks to reach an agreement over his professional contract in March, but Pep Guardiola’s side are now pushing with alternate plans.

Milan will have a big fight to keep hold of their youngster, with the report stating they have good relations with Camarda’s entourage. Moreover, the 15-year-old prodigy seems keen on continuing with the Serie A side, which could see him sign professionally at the San Siro.

While Manchester City are a big team in the context of young stars, Camarda could remain at Milan for the foreseeable future and start his career at his boyhood club. Beyond them there are other teams like Newcastle and Arsenal who are keen.

Each of those Premier league sides are eager to bring in the best young profiles from around, and they will compete for the 15-year-old if the signs of his availability improve in the coming period.
