Saudi Pro League clubs are keen on signing the 31-year-old Manchester United attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen.

According to a report by Fichajes, Saudi Pro League clubs are keen on having Christian Eriksen in their ranks. Clubs from the Middle East have already spent millions on signing top players from Europe and that trend is expected to continue in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Several Saudi Pro League clubs have their eyes on the Manchester United midfielder, and they will come for his services in the winter window. And, according to the report, they are ready to fork out €20 million for the services of the 31-year-old midfielder.

Eriksen joined Manchester United in the summer of 2022 following a successful short stint at Brentford. Since joining the Red Devils, the Danish international has been a very important player for them. Erik ten Hag has relied on the former Tottenham Hotspur star and he has not disappointed him one bit.

The 31-year-old has featured in different roles in the centre of the park, and his impressive performances have attracted a lot of attention. Eriksen has featured in a total of 15 matches so far this season and has contributed towards three goals. He is currently out injured but is expected to be back before the end of the year.

The Danish international’s contract with the Red Devils runs out in the summer of 2025. And, with just over 18 months left on his deal, clubs are keeping a close eye on his situation at the Manchester-based club. There is a lot of interest from Saudi Arabia in particular.

Clubs from the Saudi Pro League want to bring the 31-year-old to the Middle East. They feel he still has a few years left at the very top and want him to be their next star signing. Several SPL clubs are keen and willing to pay €20 million for his services.

Meanwhile, Manchester United do have numerous options in the centre of the park. But, they could still look to sign another midfielder in the summer. While Eriksen is a key part of their first team at this stage, they could still look to cash in on him given that he is in the twilight of his career and his contract runs out in 18 months’ time.
