Newcastle United might have to fork out €35-40 million for the services of 20-year-old Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra.
According to a report by Tuttomercatoweb, Valencia might agree to part ways with Javi Guerra if they receive the right offer for his services. The 20-year-old sensation has made quite a name for himself and there are numerous clubs keen on having him in their ranks.
Guerra came through the ranks at Valencia before making it to their first team ahead of the ongoing season. In total, the Spanish youth international has featured in 25 matches and has contributed towards four goals. 14 of his appearances have come in the ongoing season.
The 20-year-old has been in fine form in the current campaign. He has four goal contributions and has already racked up over 1,000 minutes. Guerra is capable enough to feature as a central midfielder as well as in a more defensive role.
His versatility and his red-hot form make him an in-demand player. While his contract with Valencia runs until the summer of 2027, the Spanish youth international is expected to be on the move in the near future.
There is a lot of interest in his services from across Europe. Juventus are one of the clubs keen on having him in their ranks and they are leading the race according to the report. But, even Newcastle United are keen on acquiring his services.
