Manchester City considering Savinho swoop

Manchester City are keen on signing 19-year-old Brazilian attacker Savinho, currently on loan at Girona from Troyes, in the coming months.

Savinho has been a key player for Girona since joining the Spanish club on loan from Troyes. Both clubs are a part of the City Football Group, and a report from 90min has claimed that Manchester City are now looking to take advantage of the situation and secure his signature.

Savinho can operate on both flanks as well as a central attacking midfielder. He will add creativity and technical ability in the final third. Manchester City could certainly use more quality in the attack, and the 19-year-old would be a solid long-term investment for them.

Pep Guardiola has done well to nurture talented young players throughout his managerial career, and he could help the Brazilian fulfil his tremendous potential as well.

Savinho will be tempted to join Manchester City, and he has previously expressed his desire to play for the Premier League champions. It would be a major step up in his career, and he would get to test himself at a high level. Barcelona are keeping tabs on him as well.

Manchester City have a proven track record of competing for major trophies every season, and he could win titles with them in the coming seasons. The 19-year-old has the potential to develop into a key player for the Premier League side, and it remains to be seen whether Manchester City can agree on a reasonable deal for him.

The Premier League champions completed the treble last year, and they will look to push for every trophy once again this season. Signing a couple of quality players in January will certainly boost their chances of doing well this season. So, Savinho would be an exciting addition.

Apart from this quality to influence games in the final third, his versatility will be an added bonus for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City. The Premier League champions are one of the wealthiest clubs in the world, and they have the finances to get the deal done. The fact that the player’s parent club is owned by the City Football Group will only enhance their chances of getting a deal done.

There is no doubt that the 19-year-old has the talent and pedigree to succeed in the Premier League, and the opportunity of being coached by someone like Guardiola will only increase his chances of doing well in English football.
