Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Real Madrid were reportedly keen on signing Argentine attacker Gianluca Prestianni.

A report by O Jogo via Sport Witness has claimed that Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Real Madrid are set to miss out on Gianluca Prestianni, who will join Portuguese club Benfica. The 17-year-old is highly rated in South America and has a big future ahead of him. He could develop into a top-class attacker with the right coaching and guidance.

Benfica have done well to get ahead of the competition, and they are now set to secure his signature. The likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid were keen on signing the Argentine prodigy, making enquiries and approaches for the 17-year-old. However, they are now set to miss out on the talented young player.

All four clubs have shown a willingness to invest in talented young players over the years, and Prestianni could have developed into a key player for them in the near future. Meanwhile, Benfica will be hoping to develop the player and help him fulfil his tremendous potential. They have signed several South American stars over the years and established them into superstars and sold them for substantial profits.

Recently, they sold Enzo Fernandez for a fee of around €120 million to Chelsea after signing him for just €10 million from River Plate. Similarly, Prestianni has the potential to develop into a top-class player as well.

The 17-year-old will complete his transfer to Benfica when he turns 18 at the end of January. Apparently, the Portuguese outfit will pay a fee of just €8 million for the Argentine. The teenage sensation could prove to be a major bargain at that price, and he is likely to fetch a substantial amount of money if he moves on in the near future.

Benfica have a proven track record when it comes to nurturing talented young players into established stars, and the 17-year-old Argentina winger will fancy his chances of fulfilling his potential with them.

Prestianni will know that it is a great stepping stone in his career, and he could easily join big clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Real Madrid in the future if he manages to showcase his qualities with the Portuguese club in the coming seasons.
