Tottenham Hotspur are looking to enter the race for the services of 20-year-old Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.
According to a report by Udineseblog, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on having Samuel Iling-Junior in their ranks. Spurs are looking to reinforce their squad in the winter transfer and the 20-year-old Juventus winger is one of their targets.
Iling-Junior started off at the Chelsea youth academy but quite early in his career, he made the move to Italy. The 20-year-old joined Juventus’ youth ranks in the summer of 2020. He went up the ranks and made it to their first team in the winter of 2022.
The England youth international has done a decent job since making it to their first team. He has featured in a total of 22 matches and has even contributed towards four goals.
The 20-year-old is not that prominent a part of Massimiliano Allegri’s team yet and he has only featured in four games in the ongoing season. Meanwhile, with his contract running out in the summer of 2025, there is a lot of interest in his services.
Iling-Junior is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have had a great start to the new season but their manager Ange Postecoglou is well aware of the fact that they lack depth. As a result, the Australian boss is looking to sign players and bolster his squad in January.
He is looking to add another attacker to the mix and wants to sign someone who can help in the long run. People at the club feel the Juventus winger could be a great fit and they are looking to land him at the club. Spurs are looking to push for the services of the €20 million-rated winger in the winter transfer window.
And, with his contract running out, Juventus could surely look to cash in on him. The Old Lady are in desperate need of reinforcement in the centre of the park but they have financial concerns. As a result, the departure of Iling-Junior could fund an important signing for Massimiliano Allegri’s team.
