And the two Premier League clubs now know how much it will take to land him in the January transfer window. Bournemouth will demand £25-30 million to sell the 25-year-old, even though he will be a free agent next summer.
Lloyd Kelly has enjoyed a solid spell since joining Bournemouth from Bristol City in July 2019. A graduate of the Bristol City Academy, he was one of the best defenders in the Championship until the Cherries returned to the Premier League. Since then, the Englishman has been in and out of the starting lineup at the Vitality Stadium.
That has also been the case this term, as the 25-year-old has started eight of the 15 games played by Bournemouth thus far. In addition, the Cherries are in a spot of bother over Kelly’s long-term future, as he will become a free agent next summer. Such a situation has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, Bournemouth will demand £25-30 million to sell him.
