Tottenham and Newcastle United are considering moves for Ben Godfrey ahead of January, with Everton ready to sell the unwanted defender.
According to 90 Min, Everton are willing to listen to offers for their unwanted defensive star, Ben Godfrey. Tottenham and Newcastle United are keen on the 25-year-old Premier League defender as the dupo looks to add defensive depth to their squad.
Many teams will focus on adding to their squad to improve depth ahead of the second half of the season. Those sitting at the top end of the table are desperate to bring in quality stars to enhance their current team.
Tottenham, for instance, are severely lacking in central defensive depth, which got laid bare during the recent game against Chelsea. Spurs lost their first-choice duo Cristian Romero to a red card, and then Micky van de Ven suffered a blow to his hamstring.
