Roma and Manchester United have both been linked with the Santos striker. The European giants have their eyes on him and would love to have him in their ranks. But, they will face tough competition from Arsenal.

The Gunners recently entered the race for his services and they are looking to land him at the club in the winter transfer window. While his contract runs until the end of 2026, the north London club could prise him away in January.

Mikel Arteta already has two quality strikers in his ranks. But, he is looking to add another in the winter. He wants someone with a different profile and feels Leonardo could be a great fit for the club.

The Gunners have already submitted an offer worth €20 million plus bonuses for the services of the 20-year-old. Arsenal do not want to lose out in the race for his services and they want to be ahead of others. As a result, they have submitted a bid as they look to land the young striker at the club on January 1.
