According to a report by Calciomercato, AC Milan and Barcelona are both keen on having Santiago Gimenez. The 22-year-old striker has been in sensational form in the recent past, and the interest in his services is at an all-time high. Feyenoord want €40 million to part ways with him.

Numerous top clubs from across Europe are expected to knock on Feyenoord’s door in 2024 for the services of the Mexican international. Gimenez came through the ranks at CD Cruz Azul before joining the Dutch club last summer.

He had an incredible debut season for Feyenoord as he found the back of the net on 28 occasions last season. The 22-year-old has carried his incredible form into the new season, and he already has 15 goals to his name in just 12 outings. Gimenez is on fire and his incredible form in front of goal has not gone unnoticed.

Last summer, quite a few clubs wanted to sign the 22-year-old. But the Dutch club were keen on having him in their ranks for another season. And, their decision seems to have done wonders so far. His value has skyrocketed, and Feyenoord will now look to cash in on him next summer.

Gimenez still has well over three years left on his deal, and the Dutch club will look for a minimum of €40 million for his services. AC Milan are one of the clubs keen on having him in their ranks next year.

The Italian giants wanted to sign him last summer, and they remain interested in his services. But, this time around, they will face a lot more competition from across Europe. Milan will have to square up against Barcelona for the signatures of the 22-year-old.

Milan are looking to bolster their attack, and they want to sign someone who can partner with Olivier Giroud up top. Gimenez will be a great addition to their ranks, and he could eventually take over from the 37-year-old who is already in the last phase of his career.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are preparing for life without Robert Lewandowski. The Polish international could part ways with the Spanish giants next summer and move to the Saudi Pro League. As a result, they are looking to secure a young striker and Gimenez could be a great fit for the club.
