Aston Villa, Manchester United, and other English clubs have recently watched 27-year-old Danish attacker Nicolai Vallys.

According to a report by Ekstra Bladet, as relayed by Sport Witness, Nicolai Vallys is popular in the market. Aston Villa and Manchester United were among the clubs to run the rule over the 27-year-old attacker. Several other well-known clubs across Europe also scouted the Brondby star this past weekend.

Nicolai Vallys has spent the majority of his career away from the spotlight. A graduate of the BK Skjold youth division, he rose to prominence during his stint with Silkeborg IF. But he has taken his performances to the next level since joining Brondby IF in August 2022.

An attacking midfielder by trade, the 27-year-old can also play on the flanks. Meanwhile, Vallys has started the 2023/24 season well, managing six goals and one assist in 13 appearances thus far. The player’s performances have also helped him break into the Danish national team this year. Meanwhile, he has captured the attention of Aston Villa and Manchester United.

Unai Emery has transformed Aston Villa since arriving from Villarreal last year. He has taken a team that had been struggling to steer clear of the relegation zone to the upper echelons of the Premier League. And the Villans have started the new campaign strongly, rising to fifth on the table.

Meanwhile, the West Midlands outfit will scour the market for a versatile attacker who can bolster the offensive unit. Several candidates, including Pedro Goncalves, have thus emerged on Aston Villa’s radar. And they recently scouted the versatile Nicolai Vallys alongside Manchester United.

The Red Devils have Bruno Fernandes as their first-choice attacking midfielder. In addition, Erik ten Hag has the versatile Mason Mount in his squad. So, it is unclear how Nicolai Vallys might fit into the scheme of things at Manchester United. Nonetheless, they recently scouted the 27-year-old Danish attacker.
