West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing 23-year-old Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho in January.

According to a report by 90min, Jadon Sancho is the subject of interest from West Ham United. The 23-year-old attacker is out of favour with Erik ten Hag after a recent bust-up with the Dutch tactician. And Manchester United are ready to part ways with him in the January transfer window.

Jadon Sancho’s stint with Manchester United has been an anti-climax since his arrival two years ago. The Red Devils chased the English international for a long time before finally securing his services in July 2021. But the move has not worked out, as he has failed to stamp his authority at Old Trafford.

Things have gone from bad to worse this season for Sancho, who has had a bust-up with Erik ten Hag. The 23-year-old produced a shocking rebuttal after the Dutchman revealed he had not picked the player in the matchday squad against Arsenal due to sub-par training levels. Sancho has thus managed only 76 minutes of game time thus far this term.

The Englishman’s long-term Manchester United future seems non-existent amid his exile from the first-team squad. Meanwhile, Sancho hopes the Red Devils will sack ten Hag so he can regain his spot in the team. As for his suitors, a few high-profile clubs have shown interest in him. But West Ham United will also compete for his signature.

West Ham United bolstered the first-team squad considerably in the summer transfer window. But they can do with a better offensive unit despite the arrival of Mohammed Kudus. So, it is hardly surprising that the Hammers are scouring the market for an attacker, although they should sign a striker.

Nonetheless, Sancho can be a viable target if Kudus starts playing as a striker, vacating the no. 10 berth for the 23-year-old Manchester United outcast. Meanwhile, Juventus will look to complete a loan deal for the English international in the January transfer window.

Juventus’s presence in the equation means West Ham might have a tall order to land Sancho. But it will be interesting to see if the Hammers beat the Bianconeri to his signature, considering Manchester United will be eager to part ways with him this coming winter.
