Aston Villa and West Ham United can acquire the services of 24-year-old Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz for €20 million.

According to a report by Birmingham Live, Aston Villa and West Ham United are both keen on having Brahim Diaz in their ranks. The 24-year-old returned to his parent club Real Madrid in the summer. But he has not had the expected game time and is considering parting ways with the club. Los Blancos will demand around €20 million to part ways with him.

Brahim Diaz came through the ranks at Malaga and Manchester City before making a move to Real Madrid in the winter of 2019. After joining Los Blancos, he did not really have much game time and was sent out on a loan during the summer of 2020.

He spent three seasons out on loan at AC Milan and took his game to another level. During his time at the Italian club, he featured in a total of 124 games and contributed towards 33 goals. His impressive performances attracted a lot of attention, and even Milan wanted to sign him on a permanent basis.

But, Real Madrid decided to once again reinstate him into their first team. Quite a few of their forwards parted ways with the club in the summer and they felt the need to bring him back. The 24-year-old was expected to have a decent role at the club. But, things have not gone according to plan.

The sensational form of Jude Bellingham has kept him out of the starting XI, and he has only managed to accumulate 118 minutes of football over nine games. Despite finding the back of the net once, Diaz seems to be lower down the pecking order, and if things do not improve, he could push for a move away from the club.

Aston Villa and West Ham United are two English clubs keen on bringing him back to the Premier League. Villa have done wonders under Unai Emery, and they would love to add another world-class player to their ranks. Emery feels the need for more firepower in attack, and Diaz could be a great addition. The 24-year-old can score as well as create.

The Hammers might have struggled in the league last season, but they have been doing a great job this time out. While they spent the money raised by the departure of Declan Rice quite wisely, David Moyes still feels the need for more attacking reinforcement. As a result, he wants Brahim Diaz at his disposal.
