Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are ready to battle it out for the services of 21-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk sensation Georgiy Sudakov.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are all keen on having Georgiy Sudakov in their ranks. The 21-year-old has made quite a name for himself over the past 12 months and some of the biggest clubs in Europe are currently monitoring him.
Sudakov joined Shakhtar Donetsk back in 2017. He has since gone up the ranks and was promoted to their first team back in the winter of 2021. The Ukraine international has gone from strength to strength over the past few seasons. And, he is regarded as a huge prospect for the future.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has featured in a total of 75 matches for the Ukrainian club and has contributed towards 24 goals. While he did have tough times during the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine, he has managed to keep up the level of his football.
In the ongoing season, he has featured in eight matches and has found the back of the net twice. The 21-year-old has featured in both of their Champions League game this season. His impressive performances haven’t gone unnoticed and there are three Premier League giants keen on having him at their disposal.
Arsenal are one of the clubs that have been monitoring him for a while now. The Gunners have been keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old from the time they started scouting Mykhailo Mudryk. The London club feel he has all the qualities to fit into Mikel Arteta’s system and could push for his services.
While the Gunners failed to sign Mudryk, they do not want to miss out on Sudakov. Meanwhile, Chelsea star Mudryk has talked highly about the 21-year-old at the club. And, he has suggested the player to the people at Chelsea. The Blues are focused on signing young players with huge potential and the Ukraine international fits the bill.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are also interested in him. They are impressed by the performances of the 21-year-attacking midfielder and could push for his services. With Kevin De Bruyne, they could move in for the Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder as a potential successor of the Belgian international.
All three clubs have been scouting him for a while now and their representatives were present in the stands to watch him play for Ukraine against England last month. While all three clubs are ready to battle it out for his services, they could face competition from Juventus who are also interested in the 21-year-old midfield sensation.
