Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent months, with Juventus emerging as a suitor.

Jadon Sancho has been linked with Serie A club Juventus. But Fabrizio Romano has now revealed to Caught Offside that a move to Italy seems unlikely. The Italian journalist has also added that a return to the Bundesliga could well be on the cards for the England international during the second half of the season.

“I was checking about Juventus and Roma, but at the moment they are not looking for a player in Jadon Sancho’s position, they are happy with the players they have, so there is nothing concrete,” Romano said on Caught Offside.

“We have to keep an eye on German clubs because Sancho did very well in the Bundesliga, but nothing has been decided by Borussia Dortmund – it will be important to see what competitions they are in in the second half of the season.”

“For United, they are still waiting to see if Sancho will apologise or not. It’s not going to be that easy, but if he doesn’t apologise then the January window will be the only solution.”

The 23-year-old has not been able to live up to the expectations since his big money move to Old Trafford, and Manchester United could look to cut their losses on him. It is unlikely that any club would be willing to pay big money for him in January.

So, any transfer might be a loan move. A return to the Bundesliga could be ideal for Sancho, and it would help him regain his form and confidence with regular first-team action. Recent reports have claimed that he wants to rejoin Borussia Dortmund.

He was regarded as a world-class talent during his time at Borussia Dortmund. But the move to Manchester United has simply not worked out for him. There is no doubt that Sancho could still be a key player in the right setting, and it remains to be seen whether he can regain his confidence and sharpness.

He has fallen out of favour with the Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, and the two have had a public fallout recently. The 23-year-old England international has been banished from the first team, and it remains to be seen whether the two can bury the hatchet and move on.

Sancho is unlikely to get game time unless he apologises to the Manchester United manager, and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops. The Red Devils need attacking reinforcements, and they could use a quality winger. Helping Sancho regain his form could be beneficial for all parties.
