Paris Saint-Germain are willing to consider offers, including loan proposals for unwanted 21-year-old Frenchman Hugo Ekitike in January.

According to Parisian outlet Culture PSG, Hugo Ekitike could be allowed to leave PSG in January after being cast aside from first-team action. The 21-year-old Frenchman’s refusal to join Eintracht Frankfurt during the summer may have had a major effect on his selections, with the Ligue 1 side now open to letting him go.

Hugo Ekitike came in the news at the latter stages of the window with regards to PSG’s transfer of Randal Kolo Muani. The latter emerged as their top striker target late in August, but the deal proved complicated as Eintracht Frankfurt wanted a replacement.

PSG proposed Hugo Ekitike to join the other way, but the 21-year-old Frenchman refused to be part of the transaction. In turn, the striker’s decision somewhat threatened to derail the Kolo Muani transfer, which has since angered the Parisian giants.

Since playing cameo roles at the beginning of August, Luis Enrique has not selected Ekitike in his matchday squads. He was also omitted from their Champions League list, which has confirmed PSG’s desire to see him leave.

As PSG pushed for Ekitike to join Frankfurt in the summer, they might have ignored his desire to sign for a Premier League side. Crystal Palace and West Ham were interested in the 21-year-old Frenchman, but there was no time in the end to make that decision.

West Ham retains an interest in the 21-year-old ahead of the January window. David Moyes still needs someone to cover for mains striker Michail Antonio. The Hammers boss had been looking to replace the departed Gianluca Scamacca but could not find the right target.

With PSG now open to even letting him leave on loan, West Ham could approach to test their resolve. Moreover, there are other clubs, like Newcastle United, also showing mild interest. Still, Ekitike might prefer the likes of the Hammers or Crystal Palace, where he can play regularly compared to the Magpies.

Palace were also looking to sign a new forward in the summer. They may have wanted to get rid of Jean-Philippe Mateta, but the Frenchman remained at the club. The Eagles could explore an opportunity to offload him in January and would like Ekitike to replace him.

At Palace, Ekitike could find his ground and make regular forays into the starting eleven under Roy Hodgson. There are other young players, including compatriot Michael OIise, that could tempt the 21-year-old Frenchman to join the Eagles over others.

A move in January seems very much on the cards for Ekitike. For now, Palace and the Hammers look like his set options in the Premier League, and there are chances of joining one during the next window.
