Arsenal will not shell out €30 million to sign Club Brugge wonderkid Antonio Nusa, a target for Manchester United.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Antonio Nusa is the subject of interest from Arsenal. But the Gunners are not ready to fork out the €30 million that Club Brugge will demand to part ways with the Norwegian prodigy. Meanwhile, the teenage sensation is also a target for Manchester United.

Antonio Nusa is a native of Langhus and spent most of his formative years in his homeland. The 18-year-old began his youth career at Langhus IL before joining Stabaek IF in 2018. Meanwhile, he has been with Club Brugge since August 2021, coming leaps and bounds at the Belgian club.

The Norwegian wonderkid is the youngest player to score on his debut in the UEFA Champions League. Meanwhile, Nusa has been solid thus far this season, chipping in with two goals and three assists in 11 appearances. The youngster’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs.

Chelsea wanted to sign the teenage wonderkid in the summer transfer window. But the young forward turned down the chance to join the West London club as he wanted regular game time to continue his progress. Meanwhile, he remains highly coveted in the market, with Arsenal and Manchester United among his suitors.

Reports this week suggested that Arsenal and Manchester United were among the clubs to send a scouting mission for Club Brugge’s UEFA Europa Conference League clash against Besiktas. But the Gunners are not ready to fork out the €30 million that Club Brugge will demand to part ways with him.

Arsenal can do with a versatile attacker like Nusa, as he can provide cover in multiple positions. As for Manchester United, the Red Devils need more quality in their offensive unit amid a lack of firepower in the final third. But neither club might offer the 18-year-old regular game time.

With Nusa already rejecting Chelsea due to concerns over game time, a move to Arsenal and Manchester United might not materialise. So, it might not matter if a suitor is ready to cough up €30 million to secure the youngster’s services.
