French international midfielder Khephren Thuram has been linked with a move away from OGC Nice in recent months.
Clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham were keen on signing Khephren Thuram during the summer transfer window but the move never materialised. A report from 90min claims that Juventus have now joined the chase for the 22-year-old midfielder.
Thuram has been a key player for OGC Nice, and he has the potential to develop into a top-class midfielder in the coming seasons. Juventus could certainly use more quality in the middle of the park especially with Paul Pogba facing an extended ban for doping.
Meanwhile, Liverpool need to bring in someone who will add defensive cover to their midfield as well. They missed out on Moises Caicedo, who joined Chelsea instead in the summer. But Thuram could prove to be a quality acquisition.
The 22-year-old has all the attributes to develop into a complete central midfielder. And working with a manager like Jurgen Klopp could unlock his true potential. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur might part ways with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg soon, and the Frenchman could be his ideal replacement.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be hard to turn down for the talented young French midfielder, and he will be tempted to join clubs like Liverpool, Tottenham and Juventus if there is a concrete proposal on the table.
