Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United keeping tabs on Oscar Gloukh

Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are tracking Red Bull Salzburg star Oscar Gloukh as a future target.

According to The Sun, Red Bull Salzburg’s 19-year-old Israeli wonderkid Oscar Gloukh continues to attract massive interest from Premier League sides. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are among the English clubs keeping tabs, while other continental sides could also revive their interest in the attacking midfielder.

Among the many exciting youngsters in the continent, Oscar Gloukh has taken considerable strides in his development. Not only has he proved his worth to Red Bull Salzburg as a good investment. But the 19-year-old Israeli wonderkid has also improved on the international stage.

He recently scored a valuable equaliser against Romania to boost Israel’s chances of qualifying for Euro 2024. Previously, the 19-year-old Israeli wonderkid had also shone at the Under-21 level, especially against England at the European Under-21 championships, where he was a standout performer.

The interest in the 19-year-old comes as no surprise, as many top-rated sides were keen during the January window. The report also pointed to Barcelona’s big interest last summer. But they delayed making the deal and arrived after Red Bull Salzburg had already signed him.

Now, a trio of Premier League sides are keeping tabs as some could ponder approaching in January itself. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are keeping tabs on Gloukh and could make their next move based on how their scouts figure out his role in the sides.

Those Premier League sides reportedly watched the 19-year-old during the recent international break and returned with impressive reports. A move to either one of them could be seen as a career step up by Gloukh. But Salzburg will demand a significant fee in return.

Arsenal and Manchester United also held an interest during the summer window. But they may have had other priorities. Ultimately, only a few teams went for the attacking midfielder with full vigour, which may have led to the Premier League giants pushing their plans potentially for the next window.

Some top-rated continental sides could also come into the picture in the next window or summer of 2024 if Gloukh continues to perform admirably with Salzburg. As things stand, the interest in the 19-year-old Israeli wonderkid remains big, but things will depend on the finances involved and how he fits into these sides stylistically.
