Barcelona and Chelsea are reportedly interested in Bradley Barcola, who is keen on moving to PSG.

According to French outlet L’Equipe, European giants Barcelona and Chelsea are interested in the services of Bradley Barcola, who is keen to move to PSG this summer transfer window. The two clubs even submitted an enquiry for the youngster.

The Olympique Lyonnais star is one of the best young players in Ligue 1. Barcola is primarily a right-winger but is capable of playing anywhere along the frontline. This versatility gives him a key advantage when it comes to making an impact in a free flowing attack.

A solid finisher with an eye for a pass, the 20-year-old has excellent potential. Barcola is far from the finished article and will need some fine tuning to take his game to the next level. There is only so much he can achieve at Lyon, and a move to a bigger club could be in the offing.

The youngster is keen to make a move and is ready to leave the Groupama Stadium this summer. He has rubbed Lyon off the wrong way by associating himself with super agent Jorge Mendes as he tries to engineer a move away.

Barcelona are in a state of rebuilding and had to part ways with Ousmane Dembele this summer. With Ansu Fati’s future at the club also in doubt, a new right-winger is a priority. Barcola could slot right into Xavi Hernandez’s system and prove to be a major asset for the Catalans.

The same can be said of Chelsea, whose attacking signings are yet to gel. Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke are yet to impress while Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech have left Stamford Bridge. With Callum Hudson-Odoi also on his way out, the Blues could do with a player of Barcola’s talents.

The player, for his part, is keen to move to Paris Saint-Germain. The French champions are rebuilding their frontline following the departures of Lionel Messi and Neymar. Barcola would be a major asset for a new look PSG attack.

However, PSG’s current priority is to get the Randal Kolo Muani deal over the line. This does give both Barcelona and Chelsea time to maybe make a final punt to secure the 20-year-old.With Barcola’s mind made up, it could prove to be a daunting task.
