Real Madrid will reportedly look to sign 17-year-old French wonderkid Warren Zaire-Emery from Paris Saint-Germain in 2024.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Warren Zaire-Emery is the subject of interest from Real Madrid. The 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid has entered the last two years of his contract. And the Merengues are considering a bid for the 2024 summer transfer window to put pressure on PSG.

Warren Zaire-Emery is one of the brightest young prospects in his homeland. A native of Montreuil in France, he started his youth career at Aubervilliers before joining Paris Saint-Germain nearly a decade ago. Since then, the French under-19 international has come leaps and bounds, rapidly rising through the ranks at PSG.

The teenage sensation made his first-team debut for PSG at the onset of last season as a 16-year-old. And the 17-year-old has made 31 appearances thus far for Les Parisiens, chipping in with two goals. Meanwhile, Zaire-Emery’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of many high-profile clubs across Europe.

Recent reports have linked the 17-year-old French wonderkid with Liverpool and Manchester City. And the Premier League heavyweights are keen on snapping him up this summer, which might prove difficult. Meanwhile, the youngster is also a target for Real Madrid, albeit for the 2024 summer transfer window.

The Merengues are renowned for constantly scouring the market for prodigious young prospects. Such an outlook enables Real Madrid to ensure a smooth transition from one generation to the next. And it has seen them land young sensations like Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, and Federico Valverde in the last few years.

Meanwhile, Endrick will arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu in the 2024 summer transfer window. And Real Madrid will look to sign another wonderkid next summer, with Zaire-Emery becoming a top target. Considering the teenage wonderkid will enter the final year of his contract in July 2024, Real Madrid can pile the pressure on bitter rival PSG.

The Spanish giants are already looking to sting PSG by signing Kylian Mbappe in a Bosman move next year. And stealing Les Parisiens’ most promising prospect will see Real Madrid rub more salt into the French club’s wounds. But it will be interesting to see if a deal for the 17-year-old French wonderkid materialises.
