Jorginho has been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer, but the North London club do not plan to part ways with him.

A report from 90min claims that Jorginho has been linked with an exit from the Emirates. But Arsenal are not planning to sell him despite links with Serie A clubs and Turkish outfits.

The Gunners recently sanctioned the departure of Granit Xhaka. So it makes sense for them to hold on to their other key players in the midfield department. Arsenal will be competing in the Champions League next season, and they cannot afford to weaken their squad.

Mikel Arteta has done well to add to his midfield with the signing of Declan Rice. But he needs to hold on to players like Thomas Partey and Jorginho as well. Arsenal will need depth and quality in their squad in order to do well next season.

They will be competing in multiple tournaments, and Arteta will have to shuffle his pack in order to keep the players fresh. Meanwhile, recent reports have linked Jorginho with Fenerbahce and a few Serie A clubs.

Jorginho is a proven performer in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League. He could prove to be a handy option for the Gunners next season. The 31-year-old midfielder joined Arsenal from Chelsea in January, and he has done reasonably well for them.

The Italian international won major trophies at Chelsea, including the UEFA Champions League. And he will look to do the same at Arsenal now. The Gunners came close to winning the Premier League title last season, and they will be hoping to go all the way this time around.

Players like Jorginho could prove to be crucial for Mikel Arteta as the season progresses. His experience and ability to perform in the big games could prove to be vital for Arsenal. Meanwhile, Thomas Partey has been linked with a move away from the club as well. But Arsenal must do everything in their power to hold on to him.

They cannot expect to rebuild their entire midfield in one window. So Arteta should hold on to his key players from last season and add quality on top of that. Summer signing Declan Rice could form a quality partnership alongside Jorginho and Partey next season.
