Paris Saint-Germain have submitted a bid worth €50 million for the services of 20-year-old Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund.

According to David Ornstein, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in acquiring the services of Rasmus Hojlund. The French club are looking to reinforce their attack ahead of next season and have submitted an official bid for the services of the 20-year-old Atalanta striker.

PSG are looking to sign a new number nine and they have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane of late. But, that deal looks unlikely with Bayern Munich leading the race for the services of the England international.

As a result, the French club have now shifted their focus towards Denmark international Hojlund. The 20-year-old has been the talk of the town ever since the start of the transfer window. He has been linked with a move to Manchester United as they look to add a new number nine to their ranks.

According to multiple reports, Erik ten Hag’s team already have an agreement in principle on personal terms with the 20-year-old and have been in talks with the Italian club over a potential transfer.

They recently submitted a verbal offer of €50 million plus €10 million in add-ons and are awaiting a response from Atalanta. The Danish striker still has four years left on his contract with the Italian club and they are looking to make much more than €50 million from his sale.

While United have an agreement on personal terms with the player and have been in talks with the club, PSG have now entered the race. The French club have already made their first move, they have submitted an official bid worth €50 million for his services.

They believe Atalanta’s valuation of the 20-year-old who scored 10 goals for the Italian club last season is unrealistic. As a result, they are ready to drop their interest if their official bid is not accepted.

Meanwhile, the French club have been in talks with the player’s representatives and those talks are also progressing nicely. With PSG set to battle it out with Manchester United for his services, it will be interesting to see who ends up winning the transfer tussle.
