Fabinho has been linked with a move away from Liverpool this summer, with Bayern Munich interested in signing him.

Fabinho is reportedly a target for Al Ittihad. And according to reputed German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have now joined the race to sign the player.

Apparently, the Bundesliga champions are closely monitoring the Brazilian midfielder. And it remains to be seen whether they decide to make a concrete move for him in the coming weeks. Fabinho has been a key player for Liverpool since joining them from AS Monaco in a £39 million deal, and he could prove to be a useful acquisition for the Bayern Munich.

Players like Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka have been linked with moves away from Bayern Munich, and they will have to replace these players adequately. Fabinho certainly has the quality to be an important first-team player for Bayern Munich next season.

Meanwhile, Fabinho has also been linked with Al Ittihad, with reports claiming Liverpool were finalising a deal for him. So it remains to be seen whether Bayern Munich can overtake the Saudi Arabian club in the transfer race.

Apparently, Liverpool have already received an offer for the Brazilian international, and it remains to be seen how the situation develops. The Bundesliga champions signed Sadio Mane from Liverpool last summer, and they will be hoping to agree on a deal for the Brazilian international for a nominal price as well.

The opportunity to play for a big European club could be a tempting proposition for Fabinho. The experienced midfielder is still very much at the peak of his powers, and he might not want to leave a top European league just yet.

However, there is no doubt that the Saudi Arabian club will be able to offer him much more money. It will be interesting to see if he prefers a lucrative contract over the chance to win major European trophies with Bayern Munich in the coming seasons.
