Tottenham Hotspur are interested in acquiring the services of the 23-year-old Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso.

According to Sky Sports via Mondo Napoli, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on having Andrea Cambiaso in their ranks ahead of next season. The 23-year-old had an impressive season last time out, and he is on the radar of multiple teams from across Europe. And Spurs have already submitted an enquiry for the Juventus full-back.

Cambiaso was a part of the Genoa youth academy. He came through their ranks and managed to break into their first team. The Italian youth international was subject to multiple loan moves over the years before making a permanent switch to Serie A giants Juventus in the summer of 2022.

They acquired his services and loaned him out to Bologna for the 2022/23 season. The 23-year-old featured in a total of 34 matches last season and was on the pitch for over 2,200 minutes. He even contributed towards three goals.

It was a very successful loan stint for the Italian full-back. And on the back of it, there is serious interest in his services. While he has a contract with the Old Lady until the summer of 2027, they could let him leave just a year after signing him given their financial crisis.

According to the report, Juventus will only let him leave for a fee of around €25 million. They trust him and won’t sell him on the cheap. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on having him in their ranks. And the North Londoners have already submitted an enquiry for the full-back.

Spurs struggled defensively in the 2022/23 season, and their new manager Ange Postecoglou wants to reinforce his backline before the start of next season. He wants to sign a new full-back as well as a centre-back, with recent reports linking Tottenham with Sacha Boey.

Cambiaso is one of his targets for the full-back slot. They have been closely monitoring him for a while now and have been in contact with the player’s agents. Spurs have enquired about what needs to be done for a possible move. Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic will likely leave Tottenham this summer, thus necessitating the need for a new left-back.

While they are keen on having the 23-year-old in their ranks, they are not the only club interested. Even AC Milan have been making moves to sign the Italian youth international. With Tottenham ready to battle it out with Milan, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the race to sign the Italian full-back.
