Real Betis will reportedly look to sign 18-year-old Real Madrid wonderkid Arda Guler on loan for the 2022/23 season.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Arda Guler is the subject of interest from Real Betis. And the Andalusian giants have already submitted an offer to Real Madrid over a possible deal in the summer transfer window. They will look to secure his services on loan for the 2023/24 season.

Arda Guler has become the latest wonderkid to join Real Madrid. The 18-year-old rose to prominence during his spell with Fenerbahce, where he made his professional debut. And he made his bow as a 16-year-old before gradually becoming a regular for the Turkish outfit this past season.

Meanwhile, the Turkish whizkid has also made his international debut for his nation. As for Guler’s performances at the club level, he was a regular for Fenerbahce in 2022/23, chipping in with six goals and seven assists in 35 appearances. And he will hope to continue his progress following his move to Real Madrid.

But the Real Madrid midfield is choc-a-bloc with top-class midfielders. And while Carlo Ancelotti might start phasing out Luka Modric and Toni Kroos this season, Guler might still have several players in front of him in the pecking order. So a loan move away from Real Madrid might serve the youngster well.

Guler can continue his exponential progress by playing week-in-week-out at another club. And Real Betis will look to offer him such an opportunity in the 2023/24 season. The report claims that the youngster is a target for Los Verdiblancos, who will aim to keep him on loan for the upcoming campaign.

The report claims the Andalusian giants have already submitted an offer to Real Madrid to secure Guler’s services. But Defensa Central adds that Carlo Ancelotti views the 18-year-old as a member of his squad for the upcoming season. So Real Betis might fail with the offer to sign him on loan for the 2023/24 campaign.

Meanwhile, the Turkish international has insisted he wants to represent Real Madrid in the 2023/24 season. And with Real Madrid hesitant to offload the youngster, Real Betis will have to identify an alternative to Guler.
