Inter Milan are keen on acquiring the services of the long-serving 36-year-old Tottenham Hotspur shot-stopper Hugo Lloris.

According to a report by Foot Mercato, Inter Milan are interested in having Hugo Lloris as their new number one ahead of next season. The 36-year-old had publicly expressed his desire to try a new challenge quite a few weeks back. And the Nerazzurri are pushing for his signatures as they look for a potential replacement for Andre Onana, who could be on his way to Manchester United.

Inter Milan are in desperate need of funds and are open to the idea of selling their 27-year-old shot-stopper. The former Ajax star had an exceptional season last time out. He was one of the main reasons for their dream run in the Champions League which ended with a defeat to Manchester City in the final.

Inter Milan have demanded €50 million for their number one, and it seems Manchester United are closing in on an agreement. The Red Devils are in desperate need of a new goalkeeper after they failed to extend David de Gea’s contract. The Spain international is now a free agent, and they are left with no choice other than to go all out for a goalkeeper.

As a result, Erik ten Hag is pushing hard for the signatures of Onana, who has worked for him in the past. With a deal likely to go through, Inter have started looking for a replacement and have their eyes on Hugo Lloris.

The French goalkeeper has been doing wonders in goal for Spurs over a decade. But he has decided to move on this summer. Lloris has publicly expressed his desire to leave, and Tottenham are unlikely to stand in his way, given they have already signed a replacement in Guglielmo Vicario.

The 36-year-old has a year left on his deal with Spurs. However, it won’t be much of a problem as they are expected to let him go on the cheap. Meanwhile, Inter are not looking to spend on a replacement. And given the performances Lloris has put in over the years, the Tottenham captain could surely do wonders for them in goal.

The French shot-stopper has already retired from International football. He is looking for a final challenge in his illustrious career. And, Inter Milan could be a perfect destination for the 36-year-old.
