Arsenal, Liverpool, and Barcelona are reportedly in contact with the entourage of Turkish wonderkid Arda Guler.

Rudy Galetti has told GiveMeSport that European giants Arsenal, Liverpool, and Barcelona have all made contact with the representatives of Turkish sensation Arda Guler over a move in the current summer transfer window.

The youngster is garnering attention following a string of strong showings for Fenerbahce and has already been dubbed the ‘Turkish Messi’. The 18-year-old is already a full international for Turkey and is expected to develop into one of Europe’s best players in the years to come.

An attacking midfielder who can also play out on the right, Guler is an effective user of the ball and is capable of dribbling past strong opponents with ease. Capable of slicing through well-knit rearguards with precision, Guler will thrive in a system that focuses on playing attacking football and getting their forwards behind opposition lines.

A solid shooter of the ball, the teenager is also a daft set-piece taker, adding yet another weapon to his armoury. While he still has a few rough edges to iron out, there is little doubt that he is on his way to superstardom.

With his release clause set at a rather cheap £15 million, several clubs can land themselves a bargain this summer. Arsenal have already signed Kai Havertz and are close to announcing both Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber. Guler will not just give them strength in depth but alongside Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, give the Gunners another attacker who can form a long-term solution for their frontline.

The same can be said of Liverpool. Guler’s ability to play out wide on the right should interest the Reds as Mohamed Salah gets older. The Egyptian ace will not play forever, and Jurgen Klopp will need to replace him in the coming years. Bringing in Guler and developing him to take over will surely give them a head start on it when the time comes.

Barcelona could also do with a player of Guler’s abilities in the long run. The youngster can form the crux of their creativity flanked by Pedri and Gavi in the middle of the park. With the Lionel Messi era at Barcelona over, who better than the Turkish Messi to write a new chapter.

Given the competition, it will not be easy for any team to have a free go at Guler. Whether Fenerbahce use the interest in their wonderkid to engineer a bidding war remains to be seen. Whichever team Guler decides to join, they will be landing themselves a bonafide talent capable of becoming a world-beater.
