Talks between Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur are progressing well as the Bundesliga giants look to sign Harry Kane.

According to Rudy Galetti, Bayern Munich are keen on having Harry Kane in their ranks. The Tottenham Hotspur striker is their priority transfer target, and they are close to acquiring his services. The Bundesliga giants have made progress in talks with Spurs as they look to land Kane at the club.

The England international has been a part of Tottenham since his childhood days. He has come up the ranks and established himself as one of the best ever in their history. The 29-year-old is currently the highest goal scorer in the club’s history.

With his contract set to expire in the summer of 2024, there is a lot of interest in his services. While Spurs want to extend his stay, the player seems to have other ideas. And, with just a year left on his deal, the interest in his services is quite understandable.

The 29-year-old has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United. But, nothing concrete has come from either of the clubs. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have identified the England international as their priority transfer target.

They are yet to replace Robert Lewandowski who left for Barcelona last summer. And, people at the club believe signing Kane could help them fill the void left by the Pole. The Bundesliga giants have been making moves to sign Kane for a while now. They have already reached an agreement in principle with the player. And, post that, they have been trying to strike a deal with the club.

Bayern Munich had submitted an initial bid of €70 million plus add-ons to acquire the 29-year-old’s services. But, Tottenham rejected it immediately. However, with talks between the two clubs progressing well of late, and the Bundesliga champions are preparing a bigger second big as they are keen on landing him at the club.

The 29-year-old attacker is all set to make the move to Germany and by the look of things, Spurs could accept Bayern’s second bid as Kane’s contract runs out in a year’s time and there is a risk of losing him for free.
