Chelsea ready to offer part-exchange deal to sign Kylian Mbappe

Chelsea are reportedly hoping to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain amid intense interest from Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has been heavily linked with Real Madrid. But a report from Defensa Central claims that Chelsea could offer €120 million and two players in exchange for the Paris Saint-Germain talisman.

Players like Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella and Christian Pulisic could be offered along with cash to lure the Frenchman to Stamford Bridge. It is no surprise that Chelsea are looking to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer.

They struggled to score goals last season, and someone like Mbappe could transform them in the final third. He will add pace, flair, goals and technical ability to the side. The 24-year-old is one of the best players in the world, and he could form a lethal partnership with his compatriot Christopher Nkunku at Stamford Bridge next season.

Chelsea will have to fix their goalscoring problems to return to the Champions League and compete for major trophies. Mbappe managed to score 41 goals across all competitions last season, and he could transform any team in world football. The 24-year-old is versatile enough to lead the line as well as operate as a winger.

The in-demand French international is yet to reach his peak, and he is likely to improve further with coaching and experience. He is destined to develop into the next superstar of the game and he could help Chelsea win multiple trophies in the coming seasons.

It will be interesting to see if Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to sell the player this summer. Mbappe will enter the final year of his contract later this week, and the French outfit are under pressure to cash in on him. They will not want to lose a player of his quality as a free agent.

Real Madrid have been linked with the player for a while, and Mbappe came close to joining them last summer. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can beat the competition from Los Blancos and convince the player to join them instead.

Chelsea cannot offer him Champions League football, which could be a major issue for them. Mbappe will want to play at the highest level next season. And joining a club without Champions League football might not appeal to him. But it will be interesting to see if Chelsea’s offer of €120 million and two players does the trick for PSG.
