According to Corriere Roma via Sport Witness, Tottenham could include Ben Davies in a deal for Roger Ibanez. The 24-year-old Brazilian is a target for Spurs, but they might see the 30-year-old Welshman expendable and include him in a player-plus-cash deal.
Tottenham have stepped up their transfer plans in the last few days as Ange Postecoglou demands new signings. Part of the squad building exercise involves culling several unwanted stars, and the manager may have identified a few he would like to let go.
Ben Davies could form part of that group, with Postecoglu reportedly planning his season without the 30-year-old Welshman. Tottenham are now considering including the versatile defender in a part exchange deal with AS Roma for Roger Ibanez.
