And the Blaugrana recently discussed a possible summer move with the Spanish defender’s agent. They are now considering raising a bid to sign the player, whose release clause is worth €20 million.
Ivan Fresneda has become a highly sought-after figure in the transfer market in the wake of his breakthrough season with Real Valladolid. While the Pucelanos have gone down to the Segunda Division, the 18-year-old has seen his stock rise. And he will likely join a top club in the summer transfer window.
The Spanish wonderkid turned out 24 times across all competitions and was a regular by the time the season ended. But Fresneda’s star has soared, with several high-profile clubs keen on signing him. And Barcelona will likely launch the offensive to land the youngster in the summer transfer window.
