Al Nassr reportedly want to acquire the services of the 30-year-old Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech ahead of next season.

According to The Athletic, Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr are keen on bolstering their squad ahead of next season, and they have their eyes set on Hakim Ziyech. The 30-year-old winger is likely to part ways with Chelsea in the summer, and the Saudi Arabian club is a potential destination for the Moroccan forward.

Ziyech made a name for himself while playing for Dutch club Ajax. The 30-year-old winger was an integral part of the Ajax team that had an incredible run in the Champions League and managed to dominate in the league.

His performances attracted the attention of Chelsea, who managed to acquire his services back in the summer of 2020 in a deal worth €40 million. While the Moroccan international showcased glimpses of the talent he possesses, he failed to establish himself as a regular in the team. And, of late he has gone down further in the pecking order.

Ziyech is not a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plan moving ahead and is expected to be offloaded as Chelsea look to balance out their wage bill. While his move to Paris Saint-Germain back in the winter collapsed in the final stages, the Moroccan is expected to leave ahead of next season without much trouble.

Meanwhile, Al Nassr are interested in the 30-year-old. They want to further strengthen their team that lost the race to the league title despite having Ronaldo in their ranks. And, now the Portuguese superstar has taken matters into his own hands to make sure they are much more competitive next season.

Ronaldo confirmed that he will continue in the SPL at the start of June and has now asked his personal manager Ricardo Regufe to look for layers and coaching staff to reinforce his team. They are going through their rebuild and have Ziyech on their radar.

The 30-year-old had an exceptional FIFA World Cup 2022. And, his performances at the global event suggest that he still has a lot to offer and could do wonders alongside Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League.

While Chelsea are ready to offload the Moroccan winger, it will be interesting to see how much they ask for the former Ajax winger who still has two years left on his contract. But recent reports have claimed that he wants to join Paris Saint-Germain.
