Tottenham will soon sign 23-year-old Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus in a deal worth €30 million.
According to a report by 90min, Dejan Kulusevski will join Tottenham Hotspur permanently in the summer transfer window. The North London club will pay €30 million instead of triggering the purchase clause worth €35 million. And the 23-year-old will sign a four-year contract running until June 30, 2027.
Dejan Kulusevski has endured a topsy-turvy ride in his young professional career thus far. The Swede ended his playing days as a youth footballer at Atalanta before rising to prominence during his loan stints with Parma. And after two years with Juventus, he moved to England, joining Tottenham on loan in January 2022.
The 23-year-old has spent 18 months on loan at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. And Kulusevski’s journey at the North London club has been a topsy-turvy ride. 2022/23 was a miserable season for the youngster, as he managed only two goals and eight assists in 37 outings. But Tottenham will look to sign the player permanently in the summer transfer window.
The North London giants have a bigger summer ahead of them after finishing eighth in the Premier League this past season. Tottenham will not play any European football. So new manager Ange Postecoglou will have the chance to imprint his ideas without the burden of midweek games for most of the campaign ahead.

Meanwhile, Tottenham will look to bolster almost every department in the summer transfer window. So scouring the market for a winger when Tottenham can secure Kulusevski’s services for a cheap sum is senseless. And they recently advanced discussions to sign the 23-year-old winger permanently.
The two clubs have now set the agreement in stone, with Tottenham on the verge of signing the Swede permanently for €30 million. The North London club had the option to secure Kulusevski’s services for €35 million. So sealing the deal for just €30 million is a brilliant bit of negotiations.
