Liverpool are interested in acquiring the services of 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery.

According to RMC Sport, Liverpool are keen on having Warren Zaire-Emery in their ranks. The 17-year-old midfielder has put in some exceptional performances in his first full season with the Paris Saint-Germain senior team, and quite a few clubs are interested in him.

Zaire-Emery has come through the ranks at PSG and has managed to break into the first team at quite a young age. The 17-year-old made a total of 31 appearances for the senior team in the 2022-23 season and also contributed with two goals.

The teenage sensation racked up over 1,100 minutes in his first full season and has managed to attract a lot of attention. Zaire-Emery is a jewel of the club’s academy and despite all the interest in him, PSG are not willing to negotiate his departure.

Luis Campos considers him non-transferable and has even compared him with Jude Bellingham who managed to break into the scene at quite a young age. While PSG are not interested in letting him leave, there could still be a possibility of him parting ways with the club.

The 17-year-old still has two years left on his deal with the French champions. And, at this point in time, there are no talks of a potential renewal. Meanwhile, PSG have a stacked-up midfield and they are looking to further bolster it by signing multiple players. As a result, the teenager might not get the desired minutes and he might consider leaving in search of more game time.

Liverpool are one of the clubs that are keeping a close eye on the French Under-19 star. The Merseyside club’s priority at this point in time is to sign quality midfielders to revive themselves. While they have already acquired Alexis Mac Allister, a lot of work is still to be done.

The Reds admire Zaire-Emery and would love to have him in their ranks. As a result, they are closely monitoring his situation. PSG might be determined to have him at their disposal for years to come. But if he decides to leave, there won’t be a shortage of suitors.
