The PSG talisman is also a target for Real Madrid. And the 24-year-old has rebuffed Barcelona’s approach as he wants to join Los Blancos.
Kylian Mbappe is one of the best players in the world, going from strength to strength with each passing season. And with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo no longer plying their trades in Europe, he is the heir apparent to the duo. Meanwhile, the French international enjoyed a superb 2022/23 season.
The 24-year-old won the Golden Boot at the 2022 FIFA World Cup but could not help France win back-to-back World Cups. Meanwhile, Mbappe’s tally at the club level was an astonishing 41 goals and ten assists in 43 appearances. But the player faces an uncertain future at PSG after telling them he will not sign a new contract. And such a situation has captured the attention of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has been on Real Madrid’s radar for a long time. The Merengues have been pursuing him for nearly half a decade without successfully seeing a deal through.
