Victor Nelsson wants to play in the Premier League next season, with Arsenal and Tottenham interested in the Galatasaray star.
According to Yagız Sabuncuoglu, Victor Nelsson would prefer to join a Premier League side ahead of the summer. The 24-year-old Arsenal, Tottenham target has plenty of suitors outside of England as he looks set to leave Galatasaray after a successful season in Turkey.
Galatasaray came out on top of the Turkish league standings as they ended the season as champions. While many of their players have received massive praise, Victor Nelsson was one of their standout stars during the campaign. The 24-year-old Arsenal, Tottenham, is likely to take interest from big clubs seriously and depart Turkey.
The Danish star will like to capitalise on the interest from top clubs, particularly from England, to take a big career leap. Others are chasing the 24-year-old, with Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Atalanta also interested.
Galatasaray would like to achieve a good financial return with the sale, with prices of €25 million being mooted. Tottenham are reportedly ready to pay the price, but they might feel the Turkish side might demand more.

Either way, Nelsson will cost much less than some of the defenders from the top five leagues. The 24-year-old has the potential to become a solid star with many years left in his promising career. Arsenal also registered an interest, with Mikel Arteta keen on a new centre-back.
The Gunners boss ideally prefers a versatile right-sided defender who could cover at right back. However, if a good deal emerges for a player like Nelsson, he could abandon those plans and keep his trust in Takehiro Tomiyasu next season.
As for Tottenham, they are looking to add quality players in what seems like a defensive overhaul. Spurs are targeting several players in the market, but due to a total lack of European football next season, they could struggle to attract top names.
Nelsson, on the other hand, could get attracted to the prospect of playing for one of the biggest English sides. He could view Tottenham as a good move, where he might establish himself as a starter in the coming season. Hence they might have a better prospect of attracting the 24-year-old.
With the player reportedly making it clear about his preference to join a Premier League side, Spurs must act fast to secure the 24-year-old. Arsenal are likely to keep close tabs, and if Nelsson fails to get a move to England, he might then prefer La Liga or other leagues.
