Real Madrid have been offered the chance to sign Rodrigo Moreno as the Spaniard looks to leave relegated Leeds United.

According to MARCA, Rodrigo Moreno has been offered to Real Madrid as a new striker option as the search for a new frontman continues. The 32-year-old Spanish international will look to leave relegated Leeds United, with a return to Spain a tempting option.

Real Madrid have stepped up their efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season. They have surprised many by agreeing on a swift deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jude Bellingham, which has now given them the base to make further signings.

The departure of Karim Benzema to Saudi Arabia has opened up the need for a new striker. Florentino Perez is in the market for a frontman and already have a big name as his priority target. Real Madrid knows Harry Kane would like to join them in the summer. But the chase is very complicated.

Tottenham are unlikely to sell him despite Kane entering the final year of his deal. Moreover, Daniel Levy will demand a significant fee, but he would love to keep the England captain on board internally. Hence, the complications surrounding the Spurs man could force the Spanish giants to look elsewhere.

Kai Havertz was also an option, but any possible move may have already collapsed. Real Madrid do not intend to pay Chelsea’s €60 million asking price. As things stand, they either want Kane now or may end up signing someone to plug the gap for a year before they make moves for Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe.

They were reportedly offered the chance to sign Rodrigo Moreno, the 32-year-old Spanish international from Leeds United. The forward suffered relegation from the Premier League, which may lead to him departing Elland Road for a fresh challenge.

Moreno has had a good season, scoring 13 times in the Premier League. The report may suggest the 32-year-old Spanish international could become a replacement for Mariano Diaz, but Real Madrid might look for a stop-gap signing.

They might still push for Kane, but the 32-year-old Spanish international might become a viable option for the right conditions. Whether they are serious about the Leeds star remains the question, although there are doubts about the club investing in the ageing forward.
