Brahim Diaz has not found a stable footing in his professional career thus far despite being a highly-rated prospect. The 23-year-old first rose to prominence during his five-year stint with Manchester City. But instead of making his first-team debut for the Premier League giants, he returned to Spain, joining Real Madrid in January 2019.

The Spanish international barely made any progress between January 2019 and September 2020 before joining AC Milan. And Diaz has made considerable progress during his three-year loan stint with the Rossoneri. And the player has chipped in with seven goals and seven assists in 45 appearances this season.

The Spaniard now faces an uncertain future, with AC Milan keen on signing him permanently. Recent reports have also linked him with several Premier League clubs. And Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly considering securing his services. But Diaz will seemingly remain at Real Madrid upon returning from AC Milan.

The latest update reveals that Real Madrid and Diaz have been discussing a new contract. The player’s current contract runs until June 30, 2025. And the fresh agreement will see the 23-year-old Spanish international committing his future to Real Madrid for two further years.
