Real Madrid are ready to offer Ferland Mendy in a player-plus-cash deal to sign Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies.

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are desperate to acquire the services of Alphonso Davies ahead of next season. The 22-year-old full-back has been on the radar of Los Blancos for quite a while now, and they are all set to make a move in the summer.

Davies has gone from strength to strength since joining Bayern Munich in the winter of 2019. The Canadian international is among the best full-backs in the world, and Real Madrid are willing to go all out to acquire his services.

While Davies has a contract with Bayern that runs until the summer of 2025, he could be on the move in the summer given the interest in his services. Real Madrid are ready to prise him away from the German giants and even the player is open to the idea of joining the Spanish club.

Florentino Perez and Jose Angel Sanchez have suggested to Carlo Ancelotti the possibility of signing the Bayern Munich full-back. The trio had a meeting regarding the need to sign a new left-back. And it seems they are keen on acquiring Davies.

Ferland Mendy has been a great servant for Los Blancos over the past few seasons, and he was integral to their triumph in last year’s Champions League. But, the 27-year-old has struggled with injuries. And in his absence Real Madrid have been forced to play Eduardo Camavinga in the left-back slot.

Carlo Ancelotti is looking to avoid such a situation next season by acquiring Davies, and they are ready to make Ferland Mendy a part of the deal. Los Blancos are ready to offer €30 million plus the 27-year-old French international in return for the Bayern Munich full-back, whose price tag is €70 million.

While Real Madrid have decided to re-sign Fran Garcia, they cannot rely on his completely. As a result, they want another left-back and are ready to sacrifice Mendy in return for Davies. While the Canadian international is open to the idea of joining the Merengues, it will be interesting to see if Bayern are open to the idea of having Mendy in exchange.
