According to a report by Spanish outlet MARCA, Alphonso Davies is the subject of interest from Real Madrid. The 22-year-old full-back is open to leaving Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window. And Los Blancos recently approached the Bundesliga champions over a possible deal for him.
Alphonso Davies has come leaps and bounds since joining Bayern Munich from Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019. A budding winger as a teenager, he still plays an advanced role for the Canadian national side. But at Bayern Munich, he has been a marauding left-back and one of the best full-backs in the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old has seen his market value soar to €70 million. And he has enjoyed a solid 2022/23 season, chipping in with three goals and eight assists in 38 appearances. But Davies faces an uncertain future at Bayern Munich in the wake of recent comments by his agent. And Real Madrid will look to prise him away from the Bundesliga club in the summer transfer window.
Davies has been on Real Madrid’s radar for a long time. The Merengues have been monitoring his progress closely for several years. But the opportunity to secure his services has never presented itself before this summer. And the youngster has quickly become the priority target for Real Madrid.
