Although he is a central attacking midfielder, he is versatile enough to play in the wide areas as well. The 19-year-old will add some much-needed creativity and technical ability to the side. Manchester United need to find a quality long-term alternative to Christian Eriksen.

The veteran Danish international is in his twilight years, and he will need to be replaced adequately. Gutierrez could prove to be a quality long-term investment for the Red Devils. Meanwhile, Manchester United have also shown interest in other players, like Leon Goretzka.
