The Catalan giants are ready to submit an enquiry for the 28-year-old Bayern Munich utility man. And Xavi Hernandez is willing to speak with the player to seal the deal in the summer transfer window.
It is rare that a player is world-class in two vastly-different positions. But such is the class of Joshua Kimmich that he has been phenomenal as a right-back and a defensive midfielder. So it is no wonder that pundits and Bayern Munich’s decision-makers alike viewed him as the heir to Philipp Lahm.
