Real Madrid have the chance to sign Harry Kane, as Tottenham would rather prefer to sell him abroad instead of a Premier League rival.

According to Spanish outlet Cadena SER, Real Madrid have been offered the chance to sign Harry Kane in the summer. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would prefer to sell the 29-year-old to a team outside the Premier League, with Manchester United keen on the striker.

Harry Kane will become the subject of intense transfer speculation once the season ends. 29-year-old Tottenham ace enters the final year of his contract, which logically points towards the north London side brokering a sale to cash in.

Daniel Levy has proved a difficult negotiator over the years, and internally he does not want to lose Kane. He will continue pushing for the 29-year-old Tottenham ace to sign a new deal, which the striker has leaned towards, as per previous reports.

However, Kane will have to make a firm decision on his future, especially after the season Tottenham have had. After breaking the club’s all-time scoring record, the 29-year-old has set his sights on Alan Shearer’s league record, which stands at 260 goals.

Those ambitions had previously dismissed a move abroad, with Bayern Munich one of the keen parties to sign the 29-year-old Tottenham ace. However, now Real Madrid could revive their previous interest with the Spanish giants offered the chance to sign Kane.

Real Madrid is set to make important transfer calls in the summer, with Jude Bellingham one of the players likely to arrive. Florentino Perez might also explore bringing in a new striker, with the ageing Karim Benzema experiencing plenty of issues with his fitness and form.

While they are keen to formulate a move for Erling Haaland in the future, Perez might consider Kane as a short-term option. The 29-year-old Tottenham ace could prove a solid acquisition to aid the club’s ambitions in the next phase.

Intermediaries have offered Real Madrid the chance to sign Kane, which the club are contemplating before making a final decision. Levy would open the door to sell the 29-year-old Tottenham ace to a club abroad. He is against transferring the striker to a domestic rival, particularly Manchester United.

Manchester United are stepping up their chase of the striker, with the club open to spending big to sign Kane. Erik ten Hag is reportedly ‘obsessed’ about the 29-year-old Tottenham ace and will want the club to pull all stops.

However, negotiating with Levy will prove a complicated task for Manchester United. Ultimately, the decision will remain with Kane to choose what to do with his future. The upcoming summer is possibly his best chance to leave Tottenham and fulfil those ambitions to win trophies.

Real Madrid will become a tempting prospect for Kane if they come into the mix. The report also threw the idea of an exchange with the Spanish giants involving Eden Hazard. But that may not seem possible from Tottenham’s perspective.
