Arsenal are reportedly hoping to agree on a new long-term deal with Reiss Nelson at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has struggled for regular game time this season, and it remains to be seen whether he is ready to commit his future to the club. Fabrizio Romano claims he has been offered a four-year deal.
The English attacker will probably seek first-team assurances before signing a new contract with Arsenal. The 23-year-old has three goals and three assists to his name across all competitions this season, and he could be a useful squad player for Arsenal.
The talented youngster can play on either flank, and he can operate as a central attacking midfielder as well. And Nelson will add some much-needed creativity and goals to the side next season if he remains at Arsenal. But recent reports have claimed that he recently rejected an offer from the North London club.
Nelson has a contract with Arsenal until the summer of 2023, and the Gunners must look to move swiftly in order to secure his long-term future. The player has had just 172 minutes of first-team action in the Premier League. But he will be hoping to play a lot more next year.

Arsenal will be in the Champions League next season, and they will need to navigate a lot more fixtures compared to this season. Mikel Arteta will have to rotate his squad quite often, and Nelson is likely to get more opportunities as well. Arsenal are already lacking in depth when it comes to their attacking department, and they cannot afford to let a talented young player like Nelson leave the club.
The 23-year-old has the potential to develop into an important first-team player for them in the coming seasons. But recent reports have linked him with several Premier League clubs. Meanwhile, the Gunners should look to bring in a quality striker as an understudy to Gabriel Jesus during the summer transfer window.
