Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United could acquire the services of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic for just €25 million.

According to Sportmediaset, Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United are all keen on having Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in their ranks. The 28-year-old midfielder’s future at Lazio is uncertain, and he could be on the move in the summer.

Milinkovic-Savic has been on the radars of multiple teams from across Europe for years. But, none of them have managed to strike a deal with the Italian club. However, things might be different in the upcoming summer window. The 28-year-old’s contract at the club runs out in the summer of 2024.

While Lazio have tried their best to renew his deal, they haven’t tasted success yet and are unlikely to get it done in the near future. With just over a year left on his deal, they don’t really have many options to play with. They can see him run down his deal and leave for free or consider offers for his services in the summer and sell him.

Lazio could have easily made around €40 million by offloading him in normal circumstances. But, with just a year left in his deal, they will have to lower their asking price and might agree to let him leave for a fee of around €25 million. Even their sports director Igli Tare has suggested that the Serbian international could be on his way out.

Tare said: “I think that for everyone’s good we will sit down at the table to clarify this thing. He has a very strong bond with Lazio, he has esteem and affection for the club and the coach. everything, even if he is sold to another club at the end of the season.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United are eager to have him in their ranks. The Gunners want to further strengthen their midfield ahead of next season. While the priority is to push for Declan Rice and Moisés Caicedo, Milinkovic-Savic could be a great alternative at a cheaper price.

The Red Devils are on the lookout for a new central midfielder who can form a great partnership with Casemiro. Erik ten Hag is keen on having a solid foundation in the double pivot role and Milinkovic-Savic can surely help his cause.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United, who have just secured Champions League football, are also keen on having the 28-year-old in their ranks. They want to bolster their squad as a whole and are expected to go all out in the upcoming transfer window. They have their eyes on Milinkovic-Savic as he can help them take the next step.

With three big clubs from England keen on having the Lazio midfielder in their ranks, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
