Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, a target for Chelsea, at the end of the season.

Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a summer move away from Juventus. And, a report from Football Transfers claims that Manchester United could now submit a €70 million offer for the Serbian international striker, a target for Chelsea.

Vlahovic joined Juventus for a fee of around €80 million. But he has not been able to live up to the expectations at the Italian club. Despite not being at his best, he has scored 14 goals across all competitions this season. And naturally, there are clubs across Europe willing to provide him with an exit route.

It remains to be seen whether Juventus are prepared to accept the €70 million offer from Manchester United when it is presented. The Red Devils need to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer. They have been overly dependent on Marcus Rashford for goals, and the England international clearly needs more help and support from his teammates.

Manchester United have been linked with players like Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen as well. However, Vlahovic will prove to be a cheaper option, and he will be much easier to sign compared to the other two. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can fend off the competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea and sign the Serbian this summer.

Vlahovic will be hoping to get his career back on track with a move away from Juventus. And the opportunity to play for a big club like Manchester United will be an attractive option for him. The Red Devils have done reasonably well this season, and they are set to qualify for the Champions League. They have managed to win the League Cup earlier this season as well.

The Red Devils will be hoping to challenge for the Champions League and the league title next year. They will have to improve the squad in order to compete at the highest level. And signings like Vlahovic will certainly help them thrive.

The 23-year-old Serbian is still quite young and he is likely to improve further with coachin g and experience. A manager like Erik ten Hag could nurture his talent and help him fulfil his world-class potential. But with Chelsea also in the hunt, it will be interesting to see if a summer move materialises for Manchester United.
