Newcastle United have been linked with a summer move for Brazilian international Neymar, a target for Chelsea and Manchester United.

Neymar has been linked with a summer move away from Paris Saint-Germain. And a report from 90min claims that the Newcastle United owners are keeping tabs on him. The 31-year-old is also a target for Chelsea and Manchester United.

Apparently, PIF are looking to bring in a marquee signing this summer. And a move for Neymar is on the cards. The 31-year-old is one of the best players of his generation, and he could prove to be a sensational addition to the Newcastle attack.

The Magpies have drawn quite a few matches this season. So they will need to improve their squad and attack in particular. Eddie Howe will want to turn these draws into wins next year, and someone like Neymar could make a big difference in the final third.

The Brazilian has 18 goals and 17 assists to his name across all competitions, and he could prove to be a major upgrade on someone like Allan Saint-Maximin. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old has a market value of €70 million.

Newcastle reportedly want someone to occupy the left side of the attack, and Neymar seems like a natural fit. The Brazilian will add goals and creativity in the final third. Furthermore, he is a proven match-winner who can win games for Newcastle all by himself.

Newcastle are expected to compete in the Champions League next season, and they could be an attractive destination for top-class players like Neymar. Furthermore, they are one of the richest clubs in the world and have the finances to offer the Brazilian international a lucrative contract at St James’s Park.

Apparently, the Magpies are keeping tabs on Cristiano Ronaldo as well. But Neymar would be a better fit for their squad. According to reports, Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the Brazilian international as well. Newcastle certainly have more financial resources compared to the two clubs.

But it remains to be seen whether they can fend off the competition from their Premier League rivals and secure the signature of the 31-year-old Brazilian international. Neymar has proven himself in France and Spain over the years, and he will be determined to showcase his qualities in England if the right opportunity comes along.
